Amounts are the exact stored decimal strings. No rounding is applied. candidate_cost_usd is the sum of measured run costs. judge_cost_usd is the sum of stored tier-2 judge ledger rows, or null when none were recorded. total_cost_usd equals candidate plus judge only when every candidate cost is present and a judge cost was recorded.

Output

The bug is that the loop tries to access an element beyond the end of the `items` array.

**What goes wrong:**
When `i` becomes equal to `items.length`, `items[i]` will try to access an index that doesn't exist (e.g., for `[2, 2, 2]`, `items.length` is 3, so `items[3]` is accessed). This results in `undefined`. When `undefined` is added to `total` (a number), the result is `NaN` (Not a Number).

**Why:**
The `for` loop condition `i <= items.length` allows `i` to reach `items.length`. Array indices in JavaScript go from `0` to `items.length - 1`.

**What to change:**
Change the loop condition from `i <= items.length` to `i < items.length`. This ensures that `i` will only go up to `items.length - 1`, which are valid indices for the array.
