   MoviePy is significantly slower than using FFmpeg directly due to its data processing architecture.

   The tool's design of converting media into numpy arrays for pixel-level access results in heavier data import/export operations compared to direct FFmpeg usage.

   Hardware acceleration for video encoding is not exposed via a user-friendly API.

   Users must manually pass complex FFmpeg parameters to enable GPU acceleration, as the library lacks high-level flags or automatic configuration for hardware backends like NVENC.
